So here we are, the main summer season nearly finished, with only the Bank Holiday to go. But the hills are getting their colour after the heat, and what a fablous show they put on. I managed a quick trip up to Strumble head, one of my favourite spots on the West Coast.
After all our travels North, its time head back out West this time, with a quick visit to Devon via Bristol, as it was such a lovely bright day. The area around Templemeads has certainly changed over the years and is now an area of modern architecture, offices, and all that goes with it.
And of course if you wait long enough, it does come good, luckly we weren't up against the time clock, we headed North and found some lovely quiet remote peninsulas out on the West Coast, and also visited some very fond places from family holidays many many years previous.
Scotland in late Spring, well it makes sence, before those midges come out to play, and the weather is getting better, well it made for some very interesting days, have to say, we missed the heavy showers, but had plenty of grey, drizzle. But those mountains and a good focal point in the picture do make for some surberp images.
Spring is in the air, and this year no strong winds to take it away. Wonderful colours, even in the middle of the city, as here in Cardiff
A lovely "find" near to Bridgened, I have photographed many of the main Welsh Castle for Cadw over the years, and of course this areas famous coastline, but I did enjoy my visit to Coity Castle.
Glad to have made the time to have a mouch around Bristol, had to keep on the go a bit too chilly to stand and people watch today, but some interesting places, a lot has changed since my last visit.
A major spring clean was in ored recently. Oh, how things change, I wonder how much time we all spend in making these disc's, only to find out later, that its not a granteed way of long term storage, etc.
